That was actually the shut-down sound for Windows 3.1. Or at least, the version my family had for ages until we went to Windows 98. Ah, nostalgia…
It took me a second to get the “Chairs” comment, even after reading Roxie’s reasoning. (Pokes temple with forefinger.) Du-uh.
