Frankly, it’s a testament to the amount of patience Leonard has built up over years of working as a bartender and nursing an unrequainted crush that he gave Charity as much time with this foolishness as he DID. No offense to Chairs, but she ain’t tricking anybody here.
I mean, she knew Leonard’s intent on selling the Rough House. She even knew who is likely to be buying it now. And Leonard KNEW she knew. Stalling here was a desperate tactic from the start, and while she put up a valient effort, I’d be skeptical if it bought her the amount of time she needs for judging to finish.
