Suburban Jungle Christmas Card 2015
Pick your holiday. 🙂 I celebrate Christmas myself, but honestly, any excuse to love each other and be happy is a good one, in my book!

Awww! Cute young Charity.
You know, I’ve been trying to figure out for a while now what bothers me about Charity’s face, and I think it’s the complete lack of any shading. It just seems so bright and flat and stands out so much from everything else. I know other characters also don’t have shading on their faces either, but it doesn’t seem as noticeable on everyone else, maybe because their faces aren’t bright orange.
I’ll look into that. Thanks for the feedback! 🙂

I know what it is. Charity is missing the facial stripe that cheetah’s have. That might give her face a little more depth and define her muzzle. I don’t know if you’ll be able to make such a major change in her since she’s been around for almost two years. But, it IS something I noticed just now.
I’m a little wary of it reading like a mustache; as it is I get occasional comments from people about her having “sideburns.” I’ll play with it, tho.
Every character design is getting another pass over the course of issue four, then issues 1-4 are going to get retroactively tweaked a bit for the first collection. So if character design changes are going to happen, now’s the time!

I’d seen the lack of the typical markings as a sign of her ‘mixed’ genetics… not as a fault or flaw, just an individual marking, or lack thereof, along with the ‘freckles’.
Your character, your story, your world as they say…
She’s probably got stripes on the back of her head the same way she does up her spine, arms, and legs… but you can’t see them under her hair! 🙂
