“In the ring” is flexible wordage in the wrestling world. I don’t follow it any more, but I did in my early 20s. You could adopt a hard line that it means “inside the square circle” OR you could expand that to include anything that occurs during the match. I saw many instances of matches “spilling out onto the ringside, audience, etc” and am willing to bet that still happens. It is all a big show.
So, I have apparently caught up to the most recent installment of SJ: Thr Rough House. How often is it updated (or should I do the un-guy-like thing of looking for a FAQ page?) Thanks for the ride!
With the recent shutdown of Project Wonderful, we are currently examining our options for this section. Meanwhile, if you'd like to support the comic...
Rufo is all wet.
HMMmmmm…..something tells me Milk Maid didn’t like the fact that Rufo wouldn’t just give up.
And correct me if I’m wrong, but didn’t Lady Hatcher promise Charity that all the action would STAY INSIDE THE RING???
I don’t think kicking the doors open to throw Rufo off the pier is “keeping it in the ring”. Just sayin’.
Oops!

Yeah, I think in this case, “in the ring” means that only the wrestlers will be fighting, not the whole crowd.
I’m also inclined to think that Milk Maid doesn’t think mere rules apply to her.
Told to take a cold shower again.
Totally worth it.
B.J. looks familiar. Have you used him before?
back in the original SJ i believe.
He may or may not be the same bear who used to pull shenanigans playing football with Tiffany, Leonard & co.
Or “B.J.” might just be a very common name among bears.
I think i’ll go with A.
Occam’s Razor and all that.
Sky’s awful bright for night. Might be late Twilight. Or maybe the town is just that happenin’
The scene was shot “blue for night.” >.>

Updates Mondays while issues are running, and “when I can” between issues. 🙂
